Veterinarian
Vasil Yordanov received his degree from The Tracian University, Bulgaria in 2015. Prior to joining San Luis Obispo Equine’s team, he worked as small animal veterinarian in his home city Sofia and did volunteer work at some local jumper barns.
In 2016, Vasil arrived on the Central Coast as part of our internship program, which he completed successfully at the end of 2017 and took the available Animal Scientist position.
He is interested in Equine Internal Medicine and all aspects of Equine Reproduction and assisted reproduction technologies, as well as Regenerative Medicine.
When he is not at the hospital, you can find Vasil at the beach surfing, or at the local climbing gym solving bouldering problems. He spends his free weekends riding at a local barn, focusing on reining and working cow horse techniques.
