The Equine Center is a full service equestrian facility accommodating to all types of horses. Whether you have sport horses, broodmares, young horses or elderly horses with special care needs.
Overview
Nestled in the hills of San Luis Obispo, just minutes from downtown, SLO airport and Cal Poly. Our beautiful 20 acre facility provides horses with a clean, safe environment and owners with all the amenities they could need.
We pride ourselves in doing the very best to make sure all TEC boarders receive the customized care they need so they can enjoy their horses in a worry-free environment.

Amenities
At TEC we treat your horses like our own. All horses are checked on twice daily, fed 3 times per day of the highest quality feed, and have constant access to water from our automatic watering system and stock tanks. Our clients enjoy ample storage in two large shared tack rooms as well as multiple wash racks and covered cross-tie options. Wifi is available in the barn area for our boarders convenience as well as a refrigerator and freezer.
All services at TEC are highly customizable to meet the unique needs of you and your horse. Services available include feeding of owner provided supplements, grain and medications. We also offer blanketing, bandaging, basic grooming, hand walking, turnout, hotwalker, treadmill conditioning and rehabilitation.
Arenas
TEC offers multiple arena options including the fully lit upper jump arena, round pen and lower flat arena which are watered and maintained regularly to create the very best footing for you and your horse.
All arenas have TruTex fiber footing which provides more stability whilst enhancing cushion and traction. The jump arena also sports an extensive set of jumps including show jumps and cross-country schooling obstacles from Jumps4Joy.
TEC also offers a 3/4 mile conditioning track consisting of rolling terrain to aid in getting your horse fit for competition or to just go out for a fun trail ride.
