Emergency Care When You Need it

The Equine Center is dedicated to providing prompt emergency services to our established clientele and their animals.

Have service when it matters most

  • Emergency services offered 24/7
  • On farm or in hospital care
  • For established TEC clients seen for routine services in the last 12 months
  • Available for non-clients with direct veterinary referral

Emergency service is provided to patients currently enrolled in The Equine Center’s WellCare program or patients who have been seen for wellness by our practice in the last 12 months.

Emergency service is also provided to non-clients if we are contacted specifically by your regular veterinarian directly.

If you are not currently a client of The Equine Center, please contact your regular veterinarian for emergency service.

THE EQUINE CENTER IS THERE IN WELLNESS AND SICKNESS

To ensure that you have the care you need in an emergency, be sure that your horse is seen yearly for a wellness exam, dental exam, nutritional counseling and vaccinations.  By taking a proactive approach to your horse’s wellness, you will be maximizing his/her quality of life through prevention and early treatment of disease.

“In more than 33 years of practice, I’ve seen fewer medical emergencies, communicable infection cases, dental disease, and parasite-related colic when educated horse owners and trainers recognize the value of preventing health problems. Proactive wellness care means healthier, active horses and fewer veterinary visits.” Dr. Harry Werner, Past AAEP President

The Equine Center has multiple wellness programs available to suit your horses needs.  All horses on a TEC wellness program are eligible to receive emergency services, if ever needed.  The Equine Center is dedicated to providing prompt emergency services to our established clientele and their animals.
