The Equine Center is equipped with a full service hospital to support our veterinarians, interns, and veterinary assistants, allowing us to provide the very best care for your horses.
Our hospital is prepared and equipped to service any equine medical need. Whether it be emergency, diagnostic, neonatal, preventative, rehabilitative or reproductive care, we are available to meet your horse’s needs.

The Equine Center (TEC) is San Luis Obispo county’s largest equine hospital facility and provides prompt emergency services to our established clientele and their animals. Our dedicated ICU staff and on-site laboratory insure the finest patient services available.
Ambulatory emergency services are provided to patients currently enrolled in The Equine Center’s WellCare™ program, or patients who have been seen by The Equine Center for routine services in the past 12 months. Emergency service is only provided to non-TEC clients through direct veterinary referral, or at our hospital location only. If you are not currently a client of The Equine Center, please contact your regular veterinarian for emergency service.
